Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond milk (or your favorite plant-based milk)
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger (or 1 tsp freshly grated for extra kick)
- 1 tsp raw honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- Pinch of black pepper (to boost turmeric absorption)
Method:
- In a small saucepan, gently heat almond milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling (or pop it in a milk frother).
- Whisk in the turmeric, ginger, cinnamon (if using), and black pepper. Stir continuously for 3–5 minutes to ensure the spices are well incorporated and the milk is golden and frothy.
- Remove from heat and stir in the honey.
- Pour into your favourite mug, take a deep breath, and sip slowly. Let it warm your body and ground your nervous system.
